Welcome to Visual Arts III (Honors)
Honors Visual Arts III is a course that uses the skills and techniques learned in Visual Arts I & II to dig deeper into the world of art and design. The course offers open-ended problem-based assignments that may require multiple solutions to a given prompt, enabling students to use their critical and creative thinking skills, while enhancing their emotional intelligence and cultural and aesthetic awareness. Students are challenged to evaluate their artwork and the art of others and to further their skills as they apply concepts and techniques to personal expressions. There is also an emphasis on craftsmanship, technique, and 21st Century skills as well.
